2024 Cubano Events raise more than $72,000 for The Fire Foundation of Colorado Springs
More than 300 friends and donors participated in the 2024 Cubano Golf Classic. The event supporting Tony’s Burgers and Beverages and the Golf Classic raised more than $72,000 for The Fire Foundation of Colorado Springs. “We are so thankful to those who generously contribute to our city’s heroes,” said Cubano Founder Rene Mondejar III.
The Cubano was founded to honor Mondejar’s father, a Cuban immigrant who came to America, served in the U.S. Military – including at D-Day and Okinawa – and appreciated good friends, good food, good music and golf.
“Honoring firefighters and supporting their equipment needs is the most important outcome of the Cubano, and we can’t thank our longtime sponsors and donors enough,” said Mondejar.
